Vehicle Wraps

Vehicle Wraps in San Diego

A vinyl wrap gives your car, truck or van a completely new look without a drop of paint. Our installers wrap full vehicles and individual panels in gloss, satin, matte, color-shift and chrome films, all inside our Production Ave bay in San Diego.

Because the film sits on top of the factory paint, a wrap also protects the finish underneath from sun and light scratches, and it can be removed cleanly when you're ready for something new. That's why more San Diego drivers choose a wrap over a repaint.

Pick Your Finish

Every wrap starts with a finish. We'll bring sample swatches out to your car in the sun so you can see exactly how each one reads before you commit.

Gloss. Deep shine that looks like fresh paint

Satin. A soft, low sheen that shows off body lines

Matte. A flat, modern look with no reflection

Color-shift. Film that changes color as the light and angle move

Chrome and specialty. Mirror chrome, brushed metal and carbon textures

How a Wrap Comes Together

The prep matters as much as the vinyl. Here's what happens before your car leaves the bay.

Consult and Choose

We look at the car together, pick a film and finish, and agree on exactly which panels get wrapped.

Decontaminate

A full wash, clay and panel wipe so no dirt or wax sits under the film and lifts later.

Install

Panels, handles and lights come off where needed so edges tuck cleanly instead of stopping short.

Post-heat and Inspect

Every edge and recess is post-heated to lock the film in place, then checked before handover.

Car Wrap FAQs

Straight answers to the questions we hear most about vehicle wraps.

How long do car wraps last?

With quality cast vinyl and regular hand washing, a wrap typically lasts several years. Every wrap we install includes a 1-year warranty, and parking out of direct sun or adding a ceramic coating over the film helps it last longer.

Car wrap vs paint: which is better?

A wrap costs less than a quality repaint, can be reversed, and protects the original paint, which helps resale value. A respray makes sense when the paint underneath is already failing.

Does a vinyl wrap protect paint?

Yes. The film shields the factory finish from UV fading, light scratches and road grime. For heavy rock chip protection on the front end, paint protection film is the stronger choice.

How do I wash a wrapped car?

Hand wash with a pH-neutral soap and a soft mitt, and skip automatic brush car washes. Avoid pressure washing right at the edges, and dry with a clean microfiber towel.

How much does a car wrap cost?

Pricing depends on the size of the vehicle, how many panels are wrapped and the film you choose. Send us a few photos and we'll come back with a fixed written estimate.

How long will my car be in the shop?

Most full color changes take three to five days, including prep and post-heat. Partial wraps and chrome deletes are often done in a day or two.
