Window Tinting
Window Tinting in San Diego
Quality window tint makes a car cooler, more private and more comfortable to drive. It cuts glare, blocks the UV rays that fade your interior and damage your skin, and gives the car a clean, finished look.
We install Suntek Evolve window film with precise, edge-to-edge cuts, and we'll walk you through California tint law so your car looks right and stays legal.

Choosing Your Shade
Tint is measured in visible light transmission (VLT), the percentage of light that passes through. The lower the number, the darker the tint.
Front side windows. California requires these to let in at least 70% of light, so we keep the front doors light
Rear side and back windows. Can be any shade, from a light tint to limo dark, when the car has side mirrors
Windshield. A non-reflective strip is allowed across the top portion of the glass
Heat and glare. Even lighter films reject heat and cut glare compared to bare glass
Privacy. Darker rear shades keep valuables and passengers out of view
How We Tint
Clean glass and precise cuts make the difference between tint that lasts and tint that peels.

Window Tint FAQs
Common questions about tinting your car in San Diego.
What tint is legal in California?
Front side windows must let in at least 70% of light. Rear side and back windows can be any darkness if the car has dual side mirrors, and a non-reflective strip is allowed at the top of the windshield.
Does window tint keep the car cooler?
Yes. Quality film rejects a large share of the sun's heat, so the cabin stays cooler and the AC doesn't work as hard.
How long does window tint last?
Quality film is built to last for years without turning purple or bubbling, as long as it's installed on clean glass and cared for properly.
How long before I can roll the windows down?
Keep the windows up for a few days while the film cures. We'll give you exact timing at pickup based on the weather.
How do I clean tinted windows?
Use an ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfiber towel. Ammonia can break down the film over time.
How much does window tinting cost?
Pricing depends on the vehicle and how many windows you want tinted. Send us the year, make and model for a free written estimate.
